Why I write

Why I write

My family and I are living a unique experience abroad in Costa Rica, where my time for true reflection exceeds my list of commitments.  It’s my hope there are some pragmatic take-aways that everyone can identify from our stories and apply in their own lives.

Quick Bio

I’m passionate about faith, family, serving, football, reading, exercise and business.

I have been incredibly fortunate to have worked for industry leaders such as Bain & Company and TPG Capital, but have found my niche as an entrepreneur. I most enjoy the challenge and excitement that comes from starting with a blank page and creating a high cash flow business model with great career opportunities for great people. Along with some great partners, I’ve completed two successful exits and I’m currently evaluating and planning for the next fun venture, while learning Spanish and living out a great family experience for the next year in Santa Ana, Costa Rica.

I am married to Kelah McNeill and we have four daughters: Hailey, Karley, Maddie and Riley. While here in Costa Rica, our goals for the family are to learn Spanish, engage in a different culture, serve in the community and come closer together as a family – ultimately, to return to the US in a year with changed hearts and spirits.
